Commercial Contracts Manager

 

Description:

Our Commercial Contracts Manager will work across key areas of the business to support the effective execution of our commercial strategy, ensuring we are managing risk and maximising opportunities to achieve optimised outcomes for Airtricity and SSE as a whole. In this role you will:

  • oversee and support the management of contracts and agreements with Third Party Vendors, Airtricity customers and other areas of SSE Group
  • understand the requirements, duties and obligations of the key contracts and agreements Airtricity enters, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and industry regulations
  • design and implement best practice contract management processes to improve commercial oversight of contract negotiation, execution and performance
  • ensure a rigorous control environment is in place to effectively manage risk and profitability across the portfolio of contracts

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • strong core skills and experience in project / programme management (with a recognised project management qualification being beneficial)
  • relevant experience in contract review, development and management, with familiarity of contractual, legal and regulatory requirements
  • expertise in developing, documenting and maintaining policies, processes, procedures and standards within a risk based, governance framework
  • excellent analytical, written, and numerical skills, able to articulate complex issues and demonstrate the commercial and monetary value of contracts
  • effective stakeholder management experience at senior levels, with ability to challenge others appropriately in relation to governance matters, and influence others to accept proposed changes, both internally and externally
