Lakeland Dairies is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Manager to join our leadership team. This is a pivotal role within our Sales department, offering the opportunity to shape strategy, drive growth, and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced agri-business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As Commercial Manager, you will:
- Lead initiatives to grow our milk supplier base for animal feed.
- Direct and develop a high-performing sales team aligned with strategic goals.
- Expand the team’s capabilities and geographic reach to meet evolving customer needs.
- Design and execute ambitious sales and marketing growth plans.
- Foster a culture of performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the sales support function to ensure timely and accurate information delivery.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and budgets, ensuring compliance with pricing and cost controls.
- Collaborate with credit control to manage debtors and meet strict targets.
- Ensure product quality and manage customer complaints in line with company standards.
- Work closely with logistics to exceed customer delivery expectations.
- Contribute to new product development and commercialisation strategies.
- Partner with IT to implement technologies that enhance commercial effectiveness.
- Support HR initiatives including talent management, training, and employee relations.
- Promote health and safety compliance and uphold data protection standards.
