Description:
As a Data Scientist, you’ll be part of the Business Energy Data & AI Platform teams. You’ll work in Agile teams to create data solutions, build and use machine learning models, and help shape systems that react to data in real time. You’ll also work closely with business teams to share insights and support smart decision-making.
You Will
- Collaborate in Agile teams to rapidly develop proof of concepts in direct partnership with business stakeholders.
- Design and implement cutting-edge machine learning models and compelling data visualisations.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders and senior executives.
- Provide data-driven recommendations that support leadership decision-making and organisational goals.
- Work closely with cloud development, data engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery, while upholding security standards and proactively reporting risks and incidents to protect against cyber threats and data loss.
- You Have
- Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch, with strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, Jupyter) and experience using Git for version control.
- A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, with practical experience or advanced study in AI/ML solution design and implementation.
- Proven ability to design and deploy AI/ML solutions using modern data science platforms and MLOps tools, along with hands-on experience in cognitive services and artificial intelligence applications.
- Expertise in advanced data visualisation techniques for complex datasets using tools like Tableau, and fluency in SQL for effective data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical insights to diverse audiences.
