Devops Engineer

Description:

We are hiring both senior Dev/Ops Architects and have several more junior Dev/Ops Engineering roles.

Irrespective of your level of knowledge you will be fully trained in the our approach to Dev/Ops in an agile world, our tooling, and processes.

You are fully bought into the DevOps and DevSecOps ways of working.

You are not silo-ed in your thinking and are comfortable in both development and operations.

You value and understand the business benefits that Dev/Ops brings to your customers

You can consult and collaborate with customers to drive business benefit via Dev/Ops

You understand the common challenges when it comes to organisations adopting Dev/Ops including the cultural issues, working on a continuous improvement loop - rather than a pre-approved, up-front plan, accepting that failure is a key component, and that one size does not fit all.

Your background will be in applications development

You are an excellent communicator (verbal/written) and can consult with both technical teams and business teams as necessary

You have experience working on code integration, design & build, test workflow engines and be aware of integrated code deployment engines with associated governance.

You have a good understanding of distributed systems and Microservices Architecture

You have experience in cloud computing enterprise integration and along with SAAS platform security, including cryptographic API usage and security standards

You will provide trusted advisor services to our customers and participate in Bid Teams to secure new business in this area. You will engage with customers to provide consultancy and advice and will leverage services available within Fujitsu to solve our customers' needs.

You will have 7+ years of experience in applications architecture
