We’re supporting a long-standing freight forwarder in Dublin that’s expanding its operations and looking for a motivated professional to take ownership of international shipments. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient movement of cargo across global markets. Your daily tasks will include:
- Handling door-to-door shipments across air, ocean, and road
- Coordinating with carriers, hauliers, and global partners
- Managing bookings, documentation, and delivery schedules
- Preparing customs entries and ensuring compliance with Irish/EU regulations
- Monitoring cargo movements and providing timely updates to clients
- Delivering excellent service and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Completing freight billing, job costing, and accurate file management
What You Bring
- 2+ years’ experience with an Ireland-based freight forwarder
- Solid understanding of multimodal freight operations
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation
- Experience using systems like Cargowise, Multifreight, or similar
- Excellent organisation, communication, and attention to detail
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude
