Responsibilities
- Design, implement and evolve robust, clinically validated and scalable algorithms based on complex systems modelling, differential equations and ML/AI methodologies.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to gather requirements, define specifications, and ensure seamless integration of developed algorithms into productive systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and internal quality standards, including ownership of design specifications, implementation details, and test results.
- Lead a team of data scientists, AI developers and data engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Robust comprehension of Complex Systems, Differential Equations, ML/AI algorithms.
- Proficiency in Python, general software engineering, and data engineering practices.
- Experience with data analysis, machine learning libraries, and simulation tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for innovation and a drive to contribute significantly to the diabetes/metabolic healthcare domain.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the healthcare/medical device industry.
- Knowledge of Diabetes technology and physiology.
