Hotel Accountant

Description:

Our client, a beautiful hotel located in County Sligo, have an exciting opportunity for a finance person to join their team. This role is moreso suited to a part qualified finance person as opposed to a qualified accountant.

A Guide To The Role

The role is all encompassing to include (plus others);

• Ownership of AP – input of invoices via Procure Wizard system
• Ownership of AR function – hotel system is Hotsoft Front Office
• Ownership of Sage Accounts 50
• Bank Reconciliations (bank feeds, e-payments, reconciliations on Sage)
• Cash Control and Credit Card Control
• Ownership of Planet Credit Card system used at front Desk
• Ownership of Elavon Credit Card system used in F&B
• Month end Accruals & Prepayments and other Journals such as Depreciation
• Reporting
• Input of payroll journals
