Portfolio Manager

Description:

A Leading Global organisation in Dublin is seeking an IT Portfolio Manager for a 12-month rolling day rate contract position.

What you will be doing in the role:

• Manage a Technology portfolio of Deliverables and Initiatives in line with the company's strategy.
• You will ensure delivery is in line with org strategy.
• You will work with Project Managers and Product Owners to establish the roadmaps and build relationships with internal customers and stakeholders.
• You will also ensure that the portfolio aligns with the Product Framework principles and manage relationships with 3rd party vendors.
• You will be responsible for Customer Relationship Management, Internal Stakeholder Management, Leadership, Revenue/KPI Responsibilities, Governance & Communication.
• Mentoring and leading your project management team

What you will need:

• Excellent knowledge and experience of working with IT Software Development Lifecycle methodologies including Agile & Waterfall,
• Strong experience with Agile
• 10+ years' experience in software/hardware delivery environment in enterprise environment
• Experience managing large scale budgets
• Experience managing large programmes/portfolios
• You should have a strong understanding of delivery management and Programme management best practices and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
