The Role

As aa Associate / Senior or Principal Cloud Data Engineer you will work within your Data Platform space, on our Change Data Capture (CDC) team. We have multiple roles within this highly collaborative, multi-functional team who are committed to improving the value of our technology solutions. The team blends deep technology & business expertise with a passion for exploring and implementing new emerging technologies while working in an open and transparent way.

You will work with the latest replication capabilities and industry best practices while using your passion for continuous learning to evolve our Data platform capabilities supported by dedicated learning days each week.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Knowledge in data movement capabilities including, data streaming, data replication and change data capture.
• In-depth technical knowledge of engineering data services using replication technologies (e.g. GoldenGate, Debezium, Striim) and a heterogenous data environment with a passion for driving effective integration
• A passion for working with the Change Data Capture community
• Experience in building and deploying data movement solutions in AWS and Azure
• Understanding of software engineering best practices and principles
• Hands on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment.
• Passion for the DevOps culture.
• Passion for continuous learning.
