We’re hiring a Public Policy Manager to support groundbreaking work in AI governance and privacy frameworks across global markets. This role offers the chance to drive collaborative, high-impact programs that directly shape how technology companies and governments navigate complex regulatory environments.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Impactful Policy Prototypes: Lead the design and execution of pioneering AI policy prototyping programs—including the globally recognized Open Loop initiative. These cross-industry sprints test real-world policy frameworks with stakeholders from government, academia, and the private sector.
- Research & Insight Development: Conduct policy analysis, desk research, and expert interviews to shape program content and guide strategic direction. Deliver reports and recommendations that inform regulation and policy conversations across jurisdictions.
- Program Strategy & Logistics: Own the logistics of policy initiatives—coordinate partners, manage timelines, develop digital assets, and support global event delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Track and analyze meetings with high-level policy stakeholders, monitor key trends, and turn insights into actionable strategy and communications for senior leadership.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with technical, legal, policy, and communications teams to ensure alignment and execution of AI and privacy-forward strategies.
What We’re Looking For
- Policy Expertise: 4+ years of experience in privacy, tech policy, or AI governance, either in the public or private sector.
- Strong Research & Analysis Skills: Comfortable conducting policy research and synthesizing insights from desk research, interviews, and stakeholder feedback.
- Excellent Communicator: Skilled in distilling complex ideas into compelling talking points, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Multitasker & Organizer: Able to juggle multiple programs across geographies while maintaining structure, detail, and impact.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to work with senior leaders, policy experts, researchers, and external partners—bringing clarity and cohesion to cross-functional efforts.
