Senior Cloud Technical Architect

Our customers are moving to the Cloud. While the cloud offers flexibility, there are still potential risks in terms of resilience, performance & cost. Our task is to reduce that complexity, simplify the transition and to help ensure a seamless customer experience. You will support our Premium Engagement customers who have hybrid system landscapes with a mix of on-premise platforms, private and public cloud solutions/services, providing good technical advice on the required capacity & size of their current & future systems. Defining the IT architecture and infrastructure including advanced sizing estimations is a high demand area for our customers in their Digital Transformations. You will work directly with them as a sure advisor at different stages the SAP solution lifecycle. This role provides access to a wide array of elements within a typical customer project (e.g. Project management topics, technical infrastructure topics, sizing, functional/solution topics, etc) and can therefore offer an opportunity to expand your knowledge of broader enterprise architecture elements.
What you bring

• You will be a team player working together with experts from other SAP departments (mix of technical & functional experts) to support and guide our customers end to end in all their sizing needs.
• You will get the opportunity to analyse SAP systems, workloads and usage profiles and work with customers to translate business needs into landscape designs and hardware specifications. Then present your ideas and findings to customer stakeholders from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong SAP technical analytical skills to develop their Technical Architecture capabilities. It would be beneficial to have experience with DB technologies (HANA, Oracle, IBM, ASE, etc) and/or S/4HANA Functional knowledge.
