Senior Data Engineer

Description:

My client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team on a 12-month day rate contracting basis. The role is based in Dublin, with a requirement to be onsite 1 full week per month (3 weeks fully remote from Ireland).

Key Skills:

• At least 5 years working with Oracle, SQL & PL/SQL, data movement, and ETL processes
• Proven skills in SQL performance tuning, with familiarity in Agile methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of data analysis and logical data modeling, with a passion for relational database design
• Experience with data visualization tools, ideally Power BI
• Knowledge of data movement and ETL; Informatica experience is a plus
• Strong proficiency with source control systems
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with distributed project teams across multiple geographies
• Creative thinker with the ability to approach challenges strategically
• Hands-on, proactive, and driven, with a dynamic “can-do” attitude and a strong desire to deliver results
