My client, a growing Irish company are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. Excellent opportunity with a market leading company. Remote working is available.
Job Responsibilities
- Guide the technical ideas and directions for teams in designing, building and testing various changes to existing software
- Plan and lead automation efforts that will lead to the elimination of manual work in infrastructure and other operational work
- Identify the manual processes across the IT framework that can be automated
- Look at the wider picture and at the organization’s IT and Tech infrastructure when making improvements or directional changes
- Maintain and look to automate the company’s cloud infrastructure and processes around this area
- Actively participate in the building of security during all development stages of software systems and infrastructure
Experience Required
- Experience with large-scale deployment of software
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD solutions
- Experience with Azure Cloud and container workloads
- Understand Azure and Microsoft Technologies
- Detail-oriented is important for this role
- Strong understanding of network technologies
- Familiarity with SIEM solution
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Well-developed people skills, capable of building strong working relationships and maintaining them
- Attention to detail combined with an ability to see the bigger picture and a wider group outlook and technology horizon
- A positive outlook and constructive way of working with others
- Professional personality who can work on projects independently
- 5 Years’ experience in a commercial environment
