Responsibilities:
- Evaluate tender documents, including interpreting drawings, specifications, reports, and scope of work.
- Create internal tender review presentations.
- Attend site visits to assess new project opportunities for tender bids.
- Prepare pricing packages for consultants, subcontractors, and materials using up-to-date estimating software.
- Review and analyze costs of consultants, subcontractors, and materials for effective cost comparison.
- Perform necessary work measurements in line with ARM 4 and updates.
- Identify, manage, and price project risks.
- Engage in correspondence with design teams and tendering authorities during and post tender phases.
- Compile comprehensive project handover reports, along with associated documentation.
- Support the Bid Technical Manager in developing tender applications and work proposals.
- Assist in crafting cost plans, expressions of interest, and presentations for clients and design teams.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Degree qualification and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in the UK or Ireland (preferably in Residential, Retail/Commercial, or Public works)
- Main contractor experience a distinct advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office packages and experience with databases.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with others.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Valid driver's license.
