Main Purpose Of Role

Owing to continued growth in our Power Division, Murphy have a requirement for an Electrical Quantity Surveyor/Estimator who will be responsible for all commercial functions from work winning through to commercial administration of electrically biased projects. Electrical project types include:
 

• Renewables (Solar, wind, BESS)
• Water & wastewater
• Natural gas
   

Role Duties
 

• Receipt of invitations to tender for electrical packages of work
• Producing estimates in conjunction with the operational team for electrical invitations to tender
• Commercial administration of electrical projects once they have been secured including but not limited to:
• Establishment of project folders
• Establishment of project budget
• Making applications for payments
• Valuation of variations and additional items of work
• Tracking and reporting on costs
• Providing commercial and contractual guidance as part of the delivery team
   

Qualifications & Skills

Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor or Engineer who can demonstrate a background of working in the Electrical Services Industry.
