We’re seeking a dedicated Senior Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in a busy teaching hospital serving the southeast of Ireland. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering safe, effective, and innovative pharmaceutical care, collaborating with a wide range of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

About the Hospital

This is a Model 4 teaching hospital, providing:

• General medical, surgical, paediatric, and maternity care for Waterford City, County, and South Kilkenny.
• Specialist services to a regional population of over 500,000 across areas including:
• Cardiology (including Interventional Procedures)
• Trauma Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Urology, Vascular Surgery, ENT, Neonatology
• Radiology, Pathology, Microbiology
• It is also the designated cancer centre for the southeast, offering rapid access assessments for Breast, Prostate, Lung, and Skin cancers, with cancer surgery centralised on-site.
• Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Palliative Care services are delivered via both inpatient and day-care facilities.

With 450 inpatient beds and 85+ day-procedure beds, you’ll find plenty of scope to grow your expertise and take on new challenges.

• Deliver and oversee high-quality clinical pharmacy services.
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Lead with confidence, bringing problem-solving and innovation to the role.
