Senior Production Planner

Description:

Barden are excited to be partnering with a leading biopharmaceutical company to identify a Senior Production Planner to join their Supply Chain and Procurement team here in Cork. The role, which is initially being offered on a contract basis, is an all-encompassing one whereby you will play a lead role in the planning, scheduling and coordination of manufacturing activities across their operations.

The successful candidate will also have a unique opportunity to work on new product introductions. You will play a lead role in the development and implementation of systems and processes and detailed production plans as well as product launch activities.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Lead role in the development of planning scenario’s & presenting to cross functional management teams to aid decision making.
• Foster strong business partnering relationships both on site in Cork and on a Global scale.
• Lead process improvements, best practice sharing & knowledge transfer for business processes and Inventory Management.
• Co-ordinate and support the ongoing maintenance of production planning activities to ensure that customer requirements are met.
• Facilitate & participate in daily cross-functional meetings to finalize activity plans.
• SME in ERP system and advanced planning and scheduling tools.
• Support the trouble shooting of more complex issues.
• Planning Representative for the introduction of new products to site and proactively engage with Tech Transfer teams to define requirements.
• Build strong, effective cross functional relationships with key stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain and publish KPI’s for manufacturing performance.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain or Finance
• 4+ years in production scheduling and planning processes experience is desirable
• Proven track record of Project Management would be beneficial
• Oracle experience is desirable
• Excellent Planning and Analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
