We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mindset and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have a strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, the Senior Program Manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for the strategic planning and monitoring of all programs and projects within the PMO office, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
  • Responsible for the delivery of all programs within the business, overseeing multiple project teams, ensuring project and program goals are reached. Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, risks, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Monthly Performance Reporting for each Program & Project concisely to the Britvic Ireland Executive team on the status of all programs and projects, highlighting any risks or actions required to ensure efficient delivery of the programs of work required. Appropriately escalate risks to senior management.
  • Manage a team of Program and Project managers, ensuring that your team delivers and inspires confidence in their delivery. Supporting the team through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to build a culture of project excellence.
  • Track program and project deliverables and manage work planning processes, consolidate work plans and budgets from various program partners.
  • Create effective partnerships cross-functionally to enable flawless program delivery of key business objectives.
  • Ensure all project work is compliant with the Britvic Stage & Gate process.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered considering the business's sustainability strategy.
  • Drive process improvements and implement changes in line with governance.
  • Approach program delivery with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Provide direction & leadership to project teams across all levels of the business.

 

Requirements

 

  • Experience in program management with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing, management & collaborative skills are desirable.
  • People Management experience.
  • Be a strategic thinker.
  • Influencing ability and personal accountability for results.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, specifically relationship building, facilitation, written / verbal communication.
  • Experience working with manufacturing / engineering departments and driving cross-functional project teams is desirable.
  • Professional project management accreditation e.g. PMP, Prince 2.
  • Accomplished IT Skills using Microsoft suite of programs (including MS Project) are essential.

Qualifications

 

  • Project Management Qualifications such as Prince 2, PMP.
