Senior Quantity Surveyor

Description:

Dillon Engineering Services is currently seeking an experienced CSA Quantity Surveyor to support Life Sciences projects within the Pharma / Biopharma sector. This role will primarily focus on the pre-contract and pre-construction phases, with potential opportunities to transition into post-contract phases, including project work that may require travel.

The successful candidate will bring strong groundworks experience and a solid commercial understanding of CSA scopes within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of capital cost estimates
• Assisting with tendering procedures and contract arrangements
• Development of pricing documents for tender packages
• Providing advice on tendering procedures
• Drafting instructions for tenderers
• Developing tender evaluation criteria
• Preparing PQQ questionnaires
• Managing and responding to tender-stage queries
• Carrying out commercial evaluations of tender submissions
• Negotiating with tenderers as required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry
• Strong groundworks experience
• Experience working on Life Sciences projects (Pharma / Biopharma) preferred
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• High level of commercial awareness and flexibility
