This role requires a strong blend of compliance and advisory expertise and you will support existing clients to the firm as well as providing support to the tax partner on business development and marketing initiatives to support the continued growth of the practice.
About the position
- Lead the delivery of high-quality, proactive tax services across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring adherence to internal controls, best practice procedures, and review standards.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, prospects, and senior leaders across the firms practice areas and office network.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment, offering coaching and mentorship to junior colleagues.
- Serve as a technical expert with deep knowledge of tax legislation, principles, and standards, applying them confidently to client scenarios.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to existing processes and contributing to strategic and technology initiatives across the Tax function.
About the person
- CTA tax advisor with 1-3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience.
- Detailed working knowledge of Corporation Tax with a good understanding of other taxes in Ireland such as VAT, personal and employment taxation.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand and address client needs.
