Job Description


Role : Technical Dev Lead

What you get to do in this role:

  • Manage Health and Safety application development activities and the team of architects and developers
  • Oversee the development process from requirements gathering to deployment
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver a high-quality application
  • Ensure security, integrity, and consistency of user and customer data
  • Ensure deadlines are being met and development is on track
  • Research and understand technical documents and help developers with solutions
  • Solve complex and ambiguous problems
  • Manage vendors and budgets

Qualifications


To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in designing and building scalable reusable components
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Java, test automation tools, web applications, and design patterns
  • Experience with development and deployment tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and Git
  • Ability to provide code reviews and guidance to remove obstacles for the development team
  • Ability to understand and implement best practices and coding standards
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate architectural standards and best practices
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (preferred)
  • ServiceNow knowledge is a plus.
