Tax Manager

Description:

An opportunity to join a global start up business as Tax Manager.

You will play a key role in the development of this business as they enter new markets globally.

Based in Dublin City with an expectation to collaborate in the office three days a week.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Support new business initiatives and advise on potential Irish tax issues.
• Oversee corporate tax and VAT compliance, and other necessary filings.
• Ensure adherence to tax reporting deadlines.
• Assist with internal/external tax inquiries and audits as they arise.
• Maintain an awareness of legislative changes and communicate tax impact with the wider business.
• Support various projects as required.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• At least seven years’ experience in tax industry and/or practice.
• A qualified Chartered Tax Advisor.
• Accounting qualification desirable (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Strong commercial acumen and a team player.
• Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines as required
