Description:
This is a hands-on role as we launch and scale a new team working alongside Mailchimp, a leading Marketing Platform provider. You will be a part of the development of a high caliber EMEA Sales Team, responsible for the development and closing of inbound and outbound opportunities. In this role, you will lead, coach, and grow a talented team of budding professionals, responsible for executing inbound and outbound marketing and sales strategies, while exemplifying MarketStar’s and our client’s core values.
We are looking to hire a smart, driven leader who is passionate about tech and works best in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Hybrid, Leopardstown, Dublin 18 (Tuesday & Thursday in office)
What Will You Do?
- Maintain a hands-on approach while adjusting to client demands and strategies.
- Manage, coach and mentor a team of sales agents across multiple sales disciplines to a set of targets and KPIs aligned to the expectations of the client and MarketStar.
- Gather a strong understanding of client offerings to enable the team effectively across differing EMEA territories.
- Continuously increase the effectiveness of the team, recognizing opportunities for creating new systems, structures, and processes.
- Create a culture of focus, teamwork, and outstanding performance.
- Drive strong thought leadership within a wider sales team.
- Adhere to team goals as agreed by the client.
- Ownership of day-to-day operations in partnership with client contact.
- Take responsibility for performance discipline, employee scheduling and attendance, time-card approvals, performance evaluations, and associated management functions
What Will You Need to Succeed?
- Fluent in English. Fluent in English.
- 2+ years of experience in managing or coaching sales reps across the technology sector.
- Personal experience managing full sales cycle or developing new business through prospection.
- You thrive in a high-energy environment and can be proactive in solving problems in and outside of your area.
- Excellent presentation and listening skills.
- Clear and thoughtful communicator with exceptional critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal, digital and written communication skills.
