Accountant

Our client, a trusted brand with a strong presence in Ireland, is seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hand on accounting experience with the ability to step up and prepare monthly management accounts. This role will see the successful candidate report directly to the Finance Manager and be an integral part of the Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts, periodic budgets and forecasts
• Quarterly sales and margin reconciliation and analysis
• Manage company Fixed Asset Register
• Prepare and issue invoices
• Review and complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Involvement in annual audit
• Ad-hoc duties as required

Key Skills

• Part Qualified Accountant with 1-3 years experience working in a similar role
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to take ownership and use initiative while working well as part of a team
