Accounting Technician

Description:

Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Accounting Technician to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1+ year of experience (e.g., Accounts Assistant or AP) who wants to build a long-term career in a well-established business with clear progression pathways.

Working closely with an experienced finance team, you’ll gain practical exposure across the full accounts function and support the day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and assist with the end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle.
• Maintain accurate rent schedules for residential properties.
• Prepare and keep bank and balance sheet reconciliations up to date.
• Support credit applications, project costing, and budget entry, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.

Key Requirements:

• At least 1 year’s experience in an Accounts Payable or similar accounting support role.
• IATI qualified or currently pursuing a recognised accounting qualification (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Clear communication skills, solid organisation, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
