Digital payments company which provides payment software applications to businesses enabling anyone, anywhere, anytime to be paid instantly by simply downloading Apple and Google-enabled digital Mastercard’s is looking for a new Accounts Technician Post-Qualified Experience.
- You will be an accounting technician or part-qualified ACCA or similar with more than 3 years of experience in some of the areas mentioned above.
- You will want to join a start-up – fast and furious and immerse yourself in the world of Fintech.
- You will be an all-rounder, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks.
- You will be solution focused and proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision to get things done.
- Review and post supplier invoices to the Finance system.
- Administer and distribute invoices to relevant managers for approval.
- Check invoices have correct approval and correct code assigned.
- Monitor and report on the return of invoices for month end/ Monitor and process company-card expenditure
- Investigating and resolving supplier queries.
- Maintain and update Accounts Payable control sheet
- Prepare payments runs & EFTS on Banking system
- Setting up Customers on Finance system
- Daily management and processing of sales invoices/credits and Daily processing of cash received and remittance advice notes
- Managing Debtors ledger with monthly reconciliations
- Sales and Debtor Reporting
- Bank and Client Account Reconciliations
- Posting of journals to Finance System
- Assist with:
- Identification of Bank transactions and allocate to correct codes
- Month end reporting and procedures
- Internal and external audit queries
- Provision of any other information requests
