A chance to provide 3rd line of defence leadership for theWealth and Insurance Divisionin Bank of Ireland, including theNew Ireland Assurance Company (NIAC). In this context, the role is accountable to drive the audit strategy for Life Insurance risks.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute a rolling programme of assurance activity to assess the effectiveness of risk management and internal controls of the Wealth and Insurance Division. Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership on life insurance matters.

• Lead the enterprise risk assurance audit strategy for Life Insurance risk.

• Develop and deliver Control Environment (CE) and Risk Management Approach (RMA) opinion to the Group Audit Committee and the NIAC Board Audit Committee (BAC).

• Engage with Wealth and Insurance senior stakeholders and relevant board committees.
