Business Development & Travel Support

 

Description:

As a Business Development & Travel Support Volunteer, you will support various aspects of our growing travel business while gaining valuable hands-on experience across business development, customer service, travel operations, marketing, and event support.

 

Key Responsibilities

1.    Business Development

·       Research potential business opportunities and market trends.

·       Identify prospective clients and strategic partners.

·       Assist with preparing proposals, presentations and business documentation.

·       Build and maintain lead databases.

·       Support the development of partnerships with hotels, airlines, transport providers and corporate clients.

·       Assist with sales follow-up activities.

 

2.    Customer Experience

·       Respond professionally to customer enquiries via email, WhatsApp and telephone.

·       Support customers throughout their booking journey.

·       Follow up on quotations and enquiries.

·       Maintain accurate customer records.

·       Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for service improvement.

·       Build positive and lasting customer relationships.

 

3.    Travel Operations & Reservations

·       Assist in preparing travel quotations and itineraries.

·       Coordinate accommodation bookings, airport transfers and leisure experiences.

·       Liaise with hotels, airlines and tourism partners.

·       Prepare travel documentation and customer welcome packs.

·       Assist with booking amendments and cancellations.

·       Monitor reservation deadlines and supplier confirmations.

 

4.    Marketing & Events

·       Support social media and digital marketing initiatives.

·       Assist with newsletters, brochures and promotional campaigns.

·       Represent 2Gether Travels at exhibitions, conferences and networking events where required.

·       Capture and manage business leads.

·       Assist with conference delegate travel enquiries.

 

Preferred Background

Experience or studies in any of the following would be beneficial:

Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
