Description:

Devils Lake is a stable community of 7,000 conveniently located in the NE quadrant of North Dakota and well-known for its endless outdoor adventure opportunities and year-round fun. This position is a key representative for the City and works under direction of the Mayor with formal guidance from the City Commission. The City Auditor leads and manages all operations and personnel in the city’s Auditing Department and provides the controllership and audit functions for the City in accordance with City Ordinances and state and federal regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as is a proven understanding and application of accounting procedures and practices.
