Commercial Account Executive

My client, a leading growing insurance company is recruiting a Commercial Underwriter.The role is based in central Dublin (Hybrid).The main responsibility of the role would be portfolio support and underwriting and managing Property, Liability, Commercial Combined, Home, and Personal Accident portfolios for direct and broker SME.

About Your New Job, you will be responsible for:

• Portfolio Support & Underwriting
• Apply underwriting tools and guidance to support accurate risk assessment, pricing, and portfolio performance, escalating decisions where required.
• Support contract certainty by ensuring policy wordings and endorsements are accurate, clear, and compliant, helping to minimise claims leakage.
• Help maintain relationships with direct and broker clients, support broker schemes, and provide underwriting assistance to Senior Underwriters and the Commercial Underwriting Manager.

What skills You Need

The client will be looking for someone who is CIP qualified and has at least two years in either Commercial Underwriting in Property, Liability, Commercial Combined, Home, and Personal Accident portfolios.
