Description:

This role encompasses quality assurance, staff development and effective communication while providing professional and clinical leadership. This position requires the ability to lead, guide and supervise staff in a rapidly changing environment, and the willingness to undertake additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

The Ct Clinical Specialist Radiographer is expected to assist in the delivery of efficient and effective radiography service within the radiology department and must function integrally within the Radiology team and have proficiency to participate in 24/7 services.

In addition, the post holder will assume responsibility for coordinating the transition and running of future services at the new National Children’s Hospital.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor of Radiography for Diagnostic Radiography or possess the Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent
  • Be registered on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU
  • On appointment practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the relevant division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU once initial registration is secured
  • Possess a recognized postgraduate qualification in CT as recognised by the IIRRT and 3 years clinical experience in CT
