Data Architect

Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Databricks Solution Architect to design and deliver enterprise data platforms for clients within Banking and Financial Services, with a strong focus on Financial Crime and Risk.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Databricks Lakehouse solutions.
• Lead solution architecture and work with business and technical stakeholders.
• Build scalable cloud-based data platforms supporting AML, KYC, Fraud Detection, Transaction Monitoring, Customer Risk Assessment (CRA), Sanctions Screening and Regulatory Reporting.
• Define data architecture, governance, security and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams.

Required Experience

• 10+ years in Data & Analytics.
• Strong hands-on Databricks architecture experience.
• Experience delivering solutions within Banking or Financial Services.
• Background working on Financial Crime, AML, Fraud or Regulatory Reporting projects.
