Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant, Belfast or Dublin.

We are looking for experienced C&I Engineers who are highly motivated, capable and committed to the highest standards of delivery, to work on our industry-leading portfolio of Offshore Wind projects.

As a C&I Engineer, you will primarily be working as discipline Lead Engineer as part of multi-discipline project teams on design development and construction activities on Offshore Wind projects. This will include:-

  • Producing high quality technical requirements specifications.
  • Reviewing and approving Contractor detail design specifications.
  • Effectively managing C&I and Telecoms project interfaces.
  • Ensuring delivery of C&I and Telecoms scope to programme and budget.
  • Attending and signing off on factory and site acceptance testing and commissioning milestones.

What do I need?

We would like to hear from candidates who have not only gained their experience from within the Renewables industry, but from other industries as well. More importantly, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate excellent technical knowledge, professionalism and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced project environment.

Due to the nature of this role, we are also looking for you to have the following:

  • A strong knowledge of SCADA systems design, specification, configuration and commissioning is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of the main control systems industry IEC standards and commonly used communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of telecoms and communications network design.
  • Experience of producing high quality specifications and negotiating contracts on large-scale construction projects.
  • Knowledge of OT Cyber Security industry standards and current best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to engage effectively with varying levels of stakeholders across the business and beyond.
