Finance Manager

Job Purpose

This role entails the ownership of accounting, reporting and financial analysis. There is a particular focus on financial reporting of a key global customer. The role will report directly into the Finance and Risk Director. An ability to multi-task and embrace ever changing market conditions is crucial.

Tasks

· Responsibility for production of monthly finance reports for a key global customer

· Perform business case analysis on new business initiatives and provide recommendations to the senior management team.

· Drive analysis of financial data to support strategic decision making of both financial and operational activities, while identifying and providing the financial implications and anticipating risks that require escalation.

· Work in conjunction with the Senior Management team to review supplier contracts to produce cost savings.

· Assist in month end reporting.

· Provide required information for annual audit.

· Support the Annual Planning process.

· Keep abreast of market conditions and specific industry and organisational changes.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance/Commerce/Economics

· Excellent MS Office skills with ability to work with a large amount of data in Excel (Advanced Level)

· Ability to show leadership and drive change to produce a positive business impact.

· Experience in the motor industry preferred but not essential.

· Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally at all levels.

· Numerate and literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent analytical and organisation skills

· Ability to bring multiple stakeholders and conflicting viewpoints to an objective resolution, with the ability to constructively challenge assumptions and thinking.

· Ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.

· Experience of actively participating in a team environment, whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently.

· Ability to narrate financial records for external stakeholder.
