Finance Manager

Barden are delighted to be assisting a successful and growing company to introduce a Finance Manager to their finance team in Dublin South (Hybrid working). The role is being offered on an initial 12-month contract but with a strong view to permanency.

This opportunity would suit a senior accountant accountant or early stage finance manager looking to take a step up and gain direct report management experience of a team of three.

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Manage and oversee the production of monthly management accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare analytical review and commentary of financial performance.
• Maintain and continue to improve effectiveness of internal controls and finance processes.
• Management and guidance of 3 direct reports.
• Ad hoc projects as required.

THE PERSON:

• Fully Qualified Accounting professional (ACA or ACCA).
• Minimum 2 years PQE, with Industry experience.
• Experience in preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Organised with the ability to meet competing deadlines.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
