Description:
This crucial position requires a dedicated finance professional to drive all reporting and analysis for our Bailieborough site. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Finance, the successful applicant will ensure strong governance and provide accurate, strategic financial support to the leadership team within the dynamic Food Ingredients division.
Key responsibilities will include (not limited too):
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts for the Bailieborough site.
- Develop, maintain and report on a suite of financial and non-financial metrics for the site that will help focus on continuous improvement plans.
- Deliver clear financial insights to divisional and site management, explaining performance and variances against budget and prior year.
- Lead the preparation of site budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational plans.
- Provide product costing and financial support for customer tenders.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Track capital expenditure and assess project paybacks.
- Support senior management with financial analysis to inform business decisions.
- Partner with the Site Manager and HR team to provide financial input into HR/IR matters.
- Assist in securing Government support in collaboration with site and central finance teams.
The Person
Our team is seeking an individual that possesses:
- A 3rd level qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a Business-related subject.
- A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Substantial working experience from within a similar finance related role.
- A proven track record in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with ERP systems and BI tools.
- Experience of team management.
