Financial Accountant

As a Newly qualified Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in their finance department, supporting various financial activities and gaining hands-on experience in accounting and financial management. Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Produce monthly management accounts
• Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support decision-making.
• Assist in auditing processes, both internal and external.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations.
• Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ideally experience in the insurance industry but not essential.
