Financial Accountant

Description:

Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a Leading Insurance Company to hire a Financial Accountant for their Dublin operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the production of periodic financial reports, management reports and regulatory returns on a quarterly and annual basis
• Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organisational policies
• Implement and update accounting policies and controls and fiscal controls for the preparation of financial reports
• Review, design, develop and implement accounting systems, systems documentation and procedures
• Implement continuous improvement to control environment and keep accounting and regulatory standards changes updated

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Newly/Fully Qualified Accountant (0-2 years PQE)
• Prior Insurance or financial services experience
• Prior knowledge of IFRS 17 / Solvency II from Audit or Industry desirable
