Financial Accountant

Barden are delighted to have been engaged by a leading multinational private equity firm who are looking to expand their Dublin finance team. They are currently inviting a recently qualified accountant to join their team as an Financial Accountant.

This is a broad financial reporting and investment accounting position that offers exposure to a broad range of activities, with a clear progression path in line with the company growth trajectory.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Review and prepare of quarterly accounts for private equity funds
• Review valuations provided by the deals team
• Respond to queries on execution of deals and opening and closing of funds
• Assist the team with investor reporting
• Lead with investor queries and reconciliations
• Prepare IRR calculations and Fund Return calculations
• Manage the purchase ledger for all allocated investment vehicles
• Review the payment schedules for all allocated investment vehicles
• Assist with the annual audit process
• Assist in reviewing tax reporting and compliance
• Ad hoc projects as they arise.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• ACA or ACCA qualified;
• Ideally having trained through a Big 4 FS audit department;
• Experience within private equity/ funds required;
• Ability to build relationships and work with senior management;
• Excellent communication and organisational skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to prioritise work and meet strict deadlines.
