Financial Accountant

Armont Recruitment is partnering with a well–established PLC with a growing finance function based in Dublin West. They are seeking a Financial Accountant to support continued business growth.

The role provides broad exposure to financial reporting, month-end processes, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic, multinational environment.

It is ideally suited to a recently qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 0–3 years’ PQE, preferably experienced in a large corporate or PLC setting, looking to further develop their career in a progressive finance team.

The Role

• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports in line with internal deadlines
• Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements across assigned entities
• Support ongoing compliance with tax and regulatory reporting requirements
• Coordinate with auditors and contribute to audit readiness activities
• Perform key balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
• Provide support with inventory-related accounting where required
• Participate in cross-functional finance projects and contribute to process enhancements

The Candidate

• Recently qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 0–3 years’ PQE
• Experience multinational or shared service environments an advantage
• Strong working knowledge of Excel; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is beneficial
• Analytical, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
