Financial Accountant

Are you an experienced Financial Accountant looking to make a meaningful impact in the not-for-profit sector? Our client a reknown not-for-profit are inviting a skilled finance professional to join their Dublin-based team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll report to the Financial Controller and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of a multifaceted organisation - spanning services, retail, and sports divisions. You'll play a key part in guiding financial strategy and supporting vital decisions.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L and balance sheet)
• Assist in preparing budgets
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and prior years
• Partner with managers to review and improve financial performance
• Manage intercompany accounts and maintain the Fixed Asset Register
• Ensure internal controls are monitored and efficient
• Support year-end audits and liaise with external auditors
• Review bank reconciliations and assist in annual budgeting

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)
• Minimum 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
