Financial Accountant

Barden are partnering with a leading Irish business as they seek a Financial Accountant to become a key part of a high-performing finance team.

This a newly created position for the business, that will play a key part in the build out of one of the well established arms of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare monthly accounts and reconciliations to tight deadlines.
• Deliver insightful budget vs. actual analysis.
• Manage cash flow and support financial planning cycles.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures.
• KPI reporting and analysis for Senior Management
• Oversee stock reviews and debtor/creditor listings.
• Handle PAYE, VAT, and CSO submissions.
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and analysis.

What You’ll Bring:

• ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification with 2+ years of experience in industry.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
• A proactive, flexible mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to best practices.
