Key Account Manager

NB- In this role you will report to Ken and Ivan- 2 really good guys who know the industry inside out- in my meeting with Ken he said “ Denis we have acquired some super brands and as you know have had recent substantial investment- we did have some teething issues at the beginning but a huge win for us is going in to partnership with an established manufacturing company- we have ambitious to grow the business by over 15% next year and for this role Denis if you prove yourself, there is room for career progression. Yes we are still in start up mode but we have some really switched on people who know the FMCG business- so for you/ the candidate you will obtain fantastic learning and experience.”

NB – Please only apply for this role if you have at least 1-3 years FMCG account management experience- advantageous if you experience working with BWG, C Channel and Forecourts- but FMCG experience is a must.

KEY TASKS/ RESPONSBILTIES·

• Maintain and grow relationships with each key account / group – within the Convenience/ Forecourt Channel
• Achievement of Forecast and Budget Revenue targets
• Ensure all JBPs are developed and implemented to an excellent standard.
• Work collaboratively and cross functionally with both stakeholders- Marketing and Finance in particular and build a strong working relationship with our supply chain and logistics partner
• Maintain quarterly contact with all key accounts / groups to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategic channel plans as needed.
• Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
• Initiative to learn from previous executions, and be able to adapt and optimize future plans based on these learnings

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 2-3 years in an account management role within the FMCG sector.
• Degree in a business related area and have a High level of commercial awareness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as Excellent relationship building & teamwork skills.
• Resilience & able to work on their own initiative in a fast paced, energetic environment.
• High level of IT proficiency.
