• Newly Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Trained in a Big 4/Top 10 Audit Firm or industry trained with financial services experience (insurance experience is a bonus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and accounting/general ledger systems.

Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will take responsibility for:

• Expense Management – Managing costing, tracking, and budget allocation.
• Planning & Forecasting – Coordinating planning and forecasting processes.
• Compliance & Controls – Ensuring adherence to taxation, capitalisation, and regulatory requirements.
• Reconciliations – Maintaining accurate financial reconciliations and controls.
• Business Partnering – Supporting business units in expense and headcount planning.
• Financial Reporting – Delivering accurate and timely reporting and developing standardised reports and dashboards.
• Process Improvement – Identifying and implementing budgeting and forecasting efficiencies.
• Audit Support – Collaborating with auditors and supporting project expense management.
