Part Qualified Accountant

Description:

Barden are excited to assist an Irish insurer based in West Dublin (hybrid working available with 1-2 days in the office) in finding a Part Qualified Accountant to join their expanding team.

The opportunity is best suited to a part qualified accountant who is approaching qualification and would like a new challenge with long-term opportunities to progress.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Processing a high volume of reconciliations.
• Assisting with monthly accounts preparation.
• Management accounts on a monthly basis.
• Responsible for repayments and accruals.
• Liaising with internal & external auditors.
• Raising PO’s and payment runs.
• Assisting the wider finance team as required.
• Involvement in project-based work and improvements across finance.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• Pursuing professional accounting qualification.
• A minimum of a 2 years’ experience in an accounts/finance assistant role.
• Varied systems exposure including Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic with a positive attitude and a desire to drive constant improvement and change.
