Senior Commercial Account Executive

My client, a leading growing insurance company is recruiting a Senior Commercial Underwriter.The role is based in central Dublin (Hybrid).The main responsibility of the role would be to manage and underwrite Property, Liability, and Commercial Combined portfolios for both direct and broker clients, including new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, pricing, and cover.

About Your New Job, you will be responsible for:

• Analyse portfolio performance, pricing adequacy, and coverage to support profitability, retention, and achievement of KPIs.
• Oversee daily portfolio maintenance, renewals, policy issuance, insurance surveys, reinsurance placement support.
• Ensure adherence to underwriting authority levels,while maintaining high underwriting quality and control.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with direct and broker clients, provide underwriting guidance and training to team members.

What skills You Need:

The client will be looking for someone who is CIP qualified and has at least 4 years experience in Commercial Underwriting in Property, Liability or Commercial Combined with one year at a senior level mentoring staff.
