Senior Management Accountant

We have been delighted to have been engaged with a leading Irish company who are looking to invite an experienced accounting professional into an exciting role as Senior Management Accountant.

This is a varied position with financial reporting and fp&a exposure, and also clear progression paths offer within this innovative company.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role will include a mix of financial accounting, management accounting, analysis and people management.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Oversight and review of the monthly management accounts;
• Reviewing and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations;
• Maintaining the fixed asset register;
• Performing analytical reviews and reporting on business performance;
• Preparation and review of budget and forecasts;
• Managing the capex budget;
• Preparation of stat financial statements and assisting with the audits;
• People management - one direct report into the role.
• Other ad hoc projects as required.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accounting professional with 1-2 years PQE;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Motivated and an exceptional attention to detail;
• Experience in the preparation of management accounts;
