Senior Software Tester

Description:

We are working with a reputable company who are looking to expand their current team, adding a Senior Software Tester with accessibility experience in order to lead a team and work alongside software developers.

This is a daily rate contract role for a minimum of 12 months and a daily rate of €450 per day. Candidates will be required to work for 5 consecutive days on site each month, so will ideally live in a commutable distance from the site.

Responsibilities:
 

• Plan and coordinate all cycles of testing and maintain up to date test cases after the desired changes have been made
• Work as part of a multiskilled team in regards to the test preparation, execution, data and tool usage
• Work with the software development team to test for accessibility compliance
• Train and mentor team members - leading to success
• Create and deliver test reports to management team for review and approval
  
   

Requirements:
 

• Proven ability to execute a knowledge of manual and automation software testing within the software development lifecycle
• Minimum 3 years' experience within an Accessibility Testing role
• In depth knowledge of accessibility standards
• Proven use of assistive technologies and tools such as; Wave, Axe or Lighthouse
• Ability to work with a multi skilled team in order to test and work through issues whilst creating solutions that meet the desired project outcome
