Software Engineer

Description:

The Software Engineer will activily participate to deliver critical capabilities for messaging service in a cloud-based architecture.

These messaging services are important digital communication channels for our customers. These channels are used by our customers to provide excellent customer experience and therefore must be best in class. The software engineer will be enthusiastic and will jump at a chance to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Design, build and deploy innovative, scalable, highly available solutions
• Collaborate closely with team members
• Provide technical guidance to architecture and design, while staying open to constructive comments
• Continuously provide input to improve processes.
• Participate in PagerDuty rotation and resolve technical issues promptly
• Demonstrate high level curiosity and keep up-to-date on the latest technologies
• Strive for excellence in the work they deliver
• Develop and maintain surrounding product ecosystem like Continuous Delivery Pipelines
• Participate in daily and weekly team meetings, report on progress using tracking systems in place
• Adhere to Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
   

Minimum Requirements :
 

• 2+ years of software development experiences in Java and/or JavaScript
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related work experience
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to work with a remote team via teleconferencing technologies
• Familiarity with NoSQL
• Familiarity with messaging systems and proven integration patterns
• Familiarity with development and troubleshooting software on Linux
