RecruitNet International Limited is looking for ADON - THEATRE AND CRITICAL CARE .This job is for someone who wants to join a busy and well-established team.

The ADON is in charge of leading the development and implementation of the hospital strategy; investing in quality staff, managing costs responsibly and investing in business development. The successful candidate will provide leadership and support to the nursing teams, creating a climate where individuals are empowered to be effective in their own roles. A key element to this role will involve maintaining collaborative working relationships across all departments to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Take charge and provide guidance in the development and execution of theatre and critical care services.
• Take charge and effectively oversee all direct reports in the development and execution of the hospitals strategic initiatives.
• Promote visible and accessible leadership that fosters a conducive environment, enabling individuals to comprehend their roles and responsibilities while empowering them to excel in their respective positions.
• Ensure balanced decision-making and support are provided within the multi-disciplinary team.
• Take charge and ensure the maintenance of appropriate quality, JCI Accreditation, and HIQA standards.
   

Requirements
 

• Registered general nurse on the live register with Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland (NMBI).
• Management qualification desirable.
• Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to inspire and motivate teams and individuals for the benefit of patient care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of business acumen focused on delivering effective results.
